What are you doing to ensure the well-being of your new goat?
What questions should you be asking yourself now, to prevent unforeseen challenges in the future?
For example:
* Should you put measures in place to protect your goat and guard it from both expected issues and unexpected issues?
And if so, what measures, and in what order?
* Have you structured your goats' environment to be able to withstand even the worst of scenarios that get thrown at you?
And if not, what can you do right now to set up preventative measures while still being able to keep costs low, quality of life high, and the energy to raise goats as simple as possible?
* Do you have a plan in place to give your new goat the best chance for becoming a contributing member of the farm or family?
And if not, what would be the steps necessary for properly setting up your goats future?

If you can't confidently say you know the right answers to just those questions for your journey as a new goat owner... your ability to maximize life expectancy, wellbeing, and usefulness of your goat is going to suffer.
Simply doing your best and / or relying on the vast amount of FREE (often inexperienced) advice isn't enough. Deep-down I'm sure you know that.
